MINI is sharing new specs for the newly redesigned, and newly all-electric, Countryman SE ALL4. The Countryman SE ALL4 has previously been a plug-in hybrid model, but the upcoming 2025 model will ditch the gas engine and offer around 225 miles of range (MINI announced 269 miles, but on the WLTP test). Pre-orders are open now and the car will be available starting in July 2024.

The new Countryman SE ALL4 is a dual-motor all-wheel drive car. The motors pairs with a 66kWh battery to offer 313hp, getting the car to 62mph in 5.6 seconds. The MINI will fast-charge at 130kW from compatible chargers. MINI hasn't said anything specifically about the charge port, but BMW Group (owner of MINI) recently announced a switch to Tesla's NACS charger.

The interior of the Countryman SE ALL4, now much larger, accommodates a modern but unmistakably "MINI" aesthetic. The center screen is a round 9.5" diameter OLED display. Ever seen that before? Overall the new MINI is handsome inside and out. Priced correctly, this could be a very attractive option for cities and suburbia.
